On the 10th and 11th of August, FIFTY FIFTY Saena, Sio and Aran opened their personal accounts on Instagram and made their first post. The three uploaded pictures of themselves. In particular, Saena and Aran looked like they went to the beach together.
What drew attention was that Saena Sio and Aran set animated characters Powerpuff Girls as their profile pictures. Powerpuff Girls are characters with superpowers Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup who join forces to defeat villains on Earth.
Saena’s avatar is Buttercup, Sio’s is Blossoms and Aran’s is Bubbles. The three opened their SNS accounts right after FIFTY FIFTY unveiled new members, raising speculation that Saena, Sio and Aran wanted to express their willingness to be together. Apart from following each other, the three only followed the account where they made revelations exposing their former agency Attrakt.
FIFTY FIFTY released a trailer video on their official YouTube channel on August 9th. Although the agency did not disclose the names of the new members, fans already found out that they were Chanelle, Yewon, and Hana and welcomed them.
Former members Saena, Sio and Aran filed a complaint with the Seoul Gangnam Police Station on August 17th last year accusing Attrakt’s CEO Jeon Hong-joon of breach of trust through their legal representatives. In this regard, Attrakt claimed that Saena, Sio and Aran filed the lawsuit because they were affected by former FIFTY FIFTY producer Ahn Sung-il’s tampering.
Attrakt sued a total of 12 people, including Saena, Sio, Aran, their parents, CEO Ahn Sung-il, and director Baek on December 18th last year. The trial for this lawsuit is expected to take place on August 29th.
