On September 29th (local time), Las Vegas police decided to indict Davis on charges of murder using a weapon in connection with the murder of Tupac. The suspect reportedly said he fired 4 shots as the field commander who ordered the killing of Tupac.

Tupac was murdered by a 27-year-old gunman in September 1996. At that time, Tupac and his group were shot and killed while moving to the car after watching Mike Tyson’s boxing match at a hotel in Las Vegas.

According to the police, Tupac’s death was due to the revenge between two gangs in Compton, Las Vegas County California. On the day of the incident, Davis also took his nephew and his group to the hotel. However, his nephew was beaten by Tupac’s team inside the hotel. Knowing that, Davis got a gun and shot Tupac’s vehicle while it was heading to the party venue after the boxing match.

The police said, “Davis was the shooter of the organization that committed the crime. He coordinated with a plan for this crime”.

Tupac is a singer named US’s living hip-hop legend in the 1990s. His professional music career lasted for only five years but he sold more than 75 million records worldwide.

Tupac was also nominated six times for the Grammys and inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017. He was awarded a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last month.
