Ex-After School Raina Appears On ‘Sing Again 3’, “I’m An Underrated Singer, Hit Songs Were In The Past”
Singer Raina, who was an After School member, drew attention with her appearance on “Sing Again 3”
Episode 2 of JTBC’s entertainment program “Sing Again 3”, which aired on November 3rd, continued showing 77 teams with outstanding skills surviving the first round.
On the broadcast, former After School member Raina appeared as No.71 following No.69 ex-Brown Eyed Soul Sung Hoon who received 6 Again from the judges. No.71 singer introduced herself as an “underrated singer”.
Kyuhyun asked, “Your group was famous and had many hit songs. I think a lot of viewers are very surprised to see you here. What made you appear on ‘Sing Again 3’?”. No.71 singer replied, “Doing promotions of the group and unit with clear concepts, I realized that I matched all the concepts. We had many hit songs, but they were already in the past. Since I’m living in the present, I want to let people hear me singing various songs of my own. So I gathered my courage. I think I can still get something even if I fail in this competition”.
Singer No.71 chose AKMU’s “RE-BYE” and advanced to the second round with All Again. Kyuhyun commented, “From the beginning of the first verse, I already thought you would do well. I knew you were a good singer, but I think your skills really improved a lot. I want to continue watching your performances in the future”.
Lim Jae-beom also showed support for singer No.71, saying “It’s not easy for someone who already performed a lot on many stages and enjoyed huge popularity to appear on ‘Sing Again 3’. If it were me, I wouldn’t have been confident enough to come out on this show. You worked hard.”
