After 1 year and 8 months, EVERGLOW makes a comeback with a powerful new song ‘SLAY’ and showcases their charm on ‘Weekly Idol’.
On August 23rd at 7:20 PM KST, EVERGLOW will appear on MBC M’s ‘Weekly Idol’.
In particular, EVERGLOW will unveil an extraordinary stage through the ‘Weekly Playlist’ segment, covering BLACKPINK’s ‘Shut Down’. BLACKPINK’s ‘Shut Down’ is a hit song with a trendy beat and witty lyrics, and its MV recently surpassed 500 million views.
Leader Si Hyeon of EVERGLOW expressed her determination, “Since it’s been a while since our comeback, we’ve put in the ambition to end it just like the meaning of the lyrics in ‘Shut Down’.”
Si Hyeon also covers BTS Jungkook’s ‘Seven’, a song that’s making new history on Billboard charts, and displays her sweet vocals. Expectations are high for Si Hyeon’s cover of ‘Seven’.
