f(x) debuted in 2009 and gained huge love after releasing numerous songs, such as “LA chA TA”, “Chuu”, “Nu ABO”, “Pinocchio”, “Hot Summer”, “Electric Shock”, etc. After the group’s exclusive contract with SM Entertainment ended in April 2021, Victoria returned to China and has been active as a singer, actress, model and MC.

When f(x) debuted, Victoria was chosen as a leader based on SM’s criteria of giving leadership to the oldest member. During her debut days, her Korean was not very good so she felt sorry about not being able to perform interviews, greetings, and introductions as a leader properly.
