On June 8th, Byun Woo-seok held his solo fanmeeting “ByeonWooSeok Asia Fanmeeting Tour” in Taipei, Taiwan.
The fanmeeting took place after Byun Woo-seok rose to stardom with his acting performance as the male lead Ryu Seon-jae in tvN’s drama “Lovely Runner”. Many people flocked to Incheon International Airport to see the actor on his departure for Taiwan, and more people gathered at the airport in Taiwan to welcome him when he arrived.
Amid the increasing interest in him after the drama, Byun Woo-seok completed his fanmeeting. He presented various charms and captivated fans’ hearts. While showcasing his singing skills by performing “Loveholic”, “Sudden Shower” and “I Think I Did” live, the actor got emotional at the loud chant from fans and eventually shed tears. In addition, Byun Woo-seok also showed his lovely side by wearing Cardcaptor Sakura costume and reenacting his childhood photos.
On the same day, Lee Seung-hyeop, who played Baek In-hyuk in “Lovely Runner” also performed at N.Flying concert. Three members of N.Flying are serving in the military so the vocal members Yoo Hwi-seung and Lee Seung-hyeop held the concert together.
In particular, at N.Flying concert, Lee Seung-hyeop introduced himself as “Baek In-hyuk, leader of Eclipse”, arousing enthusiastic responses from K-drama fans. It seems that Lee Seung-hyeop does realize his rising public recognition after the drama.
In “Lovely Runner”, Ryu Seon-jae (Byun Woo-seok) and Baek In-hyuk (Lee Seung-hyeop) are members of the top boy band Eclipse. Even after the end of the drama, fans are still so into the drama as they jokingly said Ryu Sun-jae and Baek In-hyuk of Eclipse are doing solo activities.
There was recently misinformation about Eclipse’s participation in KCON LA, but “Lovely Runner” fans also hope Eclipse could hold a real concert and perform together in real life.
