The disaster film “Project Silence,” which received a warm welcome at the Cannes Film Festival, will be released this year

The film “Project Silence,” made by CJ ENM with a net production cost of 18 billion won, tells the story of survivors isolated on a bridge on the verge of collapse being attacked by the dog “Echo,” an experiment of the military project “Project Silence.”

In fact, the film “Project Silence” was applauded by the audience in May as the first film in the Midnight Screening section of the 76th Cannes International Film Festival in recognition of its cinematic quality.

In the movie, Lee Sun-kyun played Cha Jung-won, a presidential aide trapped on the disaster-hit Gonghang Bridge.

The film’s still cut, which was released earlier, draws attention as it shows the cast members trying to escape from the scene of the incident, which became a chaos and thick fog.

Meanwhile, the movie ‘Project Silence’ also went viral as actor Lee Sun-kyun’s first disaster movie.
