After six years of bright energy and dedication, K-pop girl group DreamNote (Sumin, Eunjo, Lara, Miso, Youi and Boni) will officially disband, failing to overcome the so-called “7-year curse” in the idol industry.
On October 22, their agency iMe Korea announced via DreamNote’s official Instagram account that both sides had “reached a mutual decision to terminate the exclusive contract as of November 7, 2025,” following extensive discussions grounded in trust and respect.

“Since their debut, DreamNote has brought positive energy to fans through various activities,” the agency stated. “We are truly grateful for the love and support from ‘Page’ (the fandom name), which has always been a great strength throughout their journey.”
The statement also hinted at their disbandment, adding: “We deeply thank the members for their passion and efforts over the years. Although they will now walk separate paths, we hope the time spent together remains a warm memory for everyone.”

DreamNote’s final activity as a group will be a fan meeting on November 9, a farewell event prepared to honor their loyal fanbase. “Though short, we hope this final meeting becomes a meaningful moment where the members can sincerely connect with ‘Page’ one last time,” the agency concluded.
DreamNote debuted on November 7, 2018, with a full lineup of Korean members, several of whom were cast into the group. This year marks their 6th anniversary. Despite their best efforts, they now join the list of idol groups unable to surpass the symbolic 7-year milestone, often seen as a critical turning point in K-pop careers.
