Premiering on July 13, the new Monday-Tuesday drama stars Hwang In Youp and Hyeri in a story combining first love, reunion, and the struggles of young adults who have lost sight of their dreams.
Dream to You follows Woo Soo Bin and Joo Yi Jae, who dreamed of their futures and fell in love as teenagers. Fifteen years later, they meet again with very different lives. Hwang In Youp plays Woo Soo Bin, a gifted filmmaker who successfully achieved his dream of becoming a director. Despite his professional success, he has never forgotten his first love, Joo Yi Jae, and eventually returns to find her.

Hyeri portrays Joo Yi Jae, a hardworking reporter who gave up her dream because of difficult circumstances. Soo Bin’s sudden return awakens emotions and memories she had buried for years.
In the teaser, Soo Bin tells her, “I missed you, Joo Yi Jae.” Another scene shows Yi Jae saying, “I will return the dream I took from you,” raising questions about the unfinished story between them.
Hwang In Youp said the emotions connected to first love and the process of rediscovering a forgotten dream attracted him to the project. “The feelings created by first love and the journey of finding a dream that had been forgotten were appealing to me,” he shared.

Hyeri also praised the drama’s structure, which moves between the characters’ past and present. “I found the story structure interesting, and I thought it was a growth story that many people could relate to,” she said. The released posters and stills highlight the pair’s youthful chemistry, showing their relationship from their school years to adulthood.

The production is led by a director behind Trigger and The Uncanny Counter , while the screenplay comes from a writer who participated in projects including Goblin , Mr. Sunshine and Doom at Your Service . Dream to You premieres July 13 at 10 p.m. KST on ENA and will also be available through KT Genie TV and TVING.
