“Double Take” by TWS Accused of Plagiarizing GD&TOP’s “Knock Out”

Controversy Erupts as "Rookie Monster" TWS Faces Plagiarism Allegations Over "Double Take"

The song “Double Take” by rookie group TWS is facing allegations of plagiarizing the hit “Knock Out” by the famous duo GD&TOP.

“Double Take” is part of TWS’s recently released second mini album. Upon its release, the song attracted attention from fans for its catchy melody and modern hip-hop style. However, many listeners have noticed significant similarities between “Double Take” and “Knock Out,” a song released by GD&TOP in 2010.

Specifically, fans and critics are pointing out similarities in beat and melody, sparking heated debates.

Many opinions suggest that this similarity is not coincidental but rather blatant plagiarism. They criticize TWS for lacking creativity and respect towards their senior artists. Up to this point, TWS and their management company have yet to respond to these allegations.

This is not the first time TWS was caught in controversy. Earlier, custom watch strap brand TWM Strap claimed through their official channel that TWS plagiarized their self-designed brand logo. Beside, TWS was also accused of chart manipulation
