“Don’t make me cry,” BLACKPINK Jennie shed tears at her fan’s words of encouragement

BLACKPINK, who recently returned after about two years and is performing their best every day, met their fans offline, and member Jennie was seen crying.

BLACKPINK held an open fansigning event with fans who won the pre-event at a shopping mall in Yeouido today (Sep 26th).

BLACKPINK fan A, who attended the fan signing event, shared on SNS a video of Jennie along with the caption, “I didn’t mean to make her cry. Kim Jennie, please be happy all the time.”

“I said to her, ‘No matter what you do, we’ll cheer for Jennie, Jennie just needs to look forward and be Jennie, you are cool’. But Jennie said “Don’t make me cry,” which made me so emotional that I couldn’t say anything. My turn ended after saying countless “fighting” to Jennie,” A shared.

In the video released by A, Jennie nodded at every word of her fan and tried to make eye contact with them until the end. In addition, she smiled widely after hearing the words of support, held back her tears, and expressed her gratitude with a light applause at the end.

A added, “I couldn’t say everything because I was emotional at the end, but it was a fansigning event with no regrets.”

After the event, Jennie said on SNS, “I’m happy to meet BLINK today. I’ll try harder from now on! Thank you,” expressing her feelings to fans.

Recently, Jennie was exposed to serious privacy violations after several privacy photos of her was leaked by an anonymous Internet user, raising concerns among fans.

BLACKPINK, who recently released their second full album “BORN PINK” on Sep 16th, will announce the start of their world tour with the first 2 nights at KSPO Dome in Seoul Olympic Park on October 15th and 16th.
