Does Getty Images Still Hold a Grudge Against Han So-hee?

On the morning of August 9th (KST), Han So-hee attended the latest event for the Swiss watch brand Omega as a Global Ambassador. The event, named Omega House Paris, commemorates Omega’s 92-year history with the Olympic Games. Just a day prior, Han So-hee surprised fans with her shoulder-length hair while cheering for athletes from the stands.
Dressed in a pastel blue strapless sheer gown by Bronx and Banco, Han So-hee immediately garnered attention from numerous media outlets upon her arrival. Naturally, the ever-present “notorious” cameras of Getty Images were also in attendance.
However, when media outlet Getty Images dropped high-definition photos, Han So-hee’s gaunt and altered appearance drew negative attention. In the past, Getty Images has had a track record of ignoring Han So-hee and publishing unflattering photos of her, so the recent images have disappointed fans.
It seems that the already strained relationship between Getty Images and Han So-hee is still prevailing.
Despite donning the previously celebrated red lipstick look, Han So-hee suffered from the “unforgiving” angles and lighting from Getty Images’ photographers, leading to her beauty seeming somewhat diminished.
Some netizens even point out that Han So-hee looks way better through fan-taken images using regular phone cameras, questioning Getty Images’ “grudge” with Han So-hee.
