“Do your job properly” The reason why Red Velvet’s fans lash out at SM Entertainment 

Fans of girl group Red Velvet are complaining about SM Entertainment’s lack of album stock ahead of the group’s comeback.

It was previously reported that SM girl group Red Velvet will be making a comeback with the album “The ReVe Festival 2022 – Birthday” on November 28th.

“SM does not know the meaning of pre-orders. They keep ignoring the fact that only Red Velvet has had an album stock problem every comeback for several years. This is very serious, take responsibility and resolve it.

Records show it is not Red Velvet’s fandom that doesn’t have purchasing power, but SM that underestimates their artist and the fandom every time.”

“How many times have we thought SM wouldn’t do this again in the next comeback, but the same keeps happening? Where in the world is a company that prevents their own artist from raising the first-week records due to a lack of supplies for each album? Do your job properly.” 

As a result, fans of Red Velvet are trying to buy the physical albums, only to fail because SM did not prepare enough stock. In particular, the upcoming Red Velvet album is listed as sold out on various sites, even during the pre-order period.

Angered at SM Entertainment’s lack of preparation, fans of Red Velvet are leaving comments such as, “How come the album is already out of stock even though it’s only the pre-order period?”, “Why is it that only Red Velvet albums are in short supply? I want to pre-order but it keeps selling out?”, “This is not the first time SM has had quantity issues about Red Velvet, why can’t they improve it?”, “This is preventing Red Velvet from getting high numbers for their 1st week sales”.  

On the other hand, Red Velvet, who is making a comeback on November 28th, recently won the “Best Female Performance” and “Best Music Video” awards at the 2022 Genie Music Awards, which was held at Namdong Gymnasium in Incheon on November 8th.
