In the latest episode of JTBC’s Divorce Camp, a couple reached a breaking point as the wife, unable to control her anger toward her husband’s repeated behavior, declared her withdrawal from the program and left midway through filming.

The November 6 broadcast showed the couple participating in a psychodrama therapy session designed to help them confront their emotional wounds. Watching their reenacted scenes, both expressed regret for their past actions. The wife admitted, “I’ve had anger control issues since I was young. The same problems keep repeating in my life, and even the smallest mistake makes me explode.”
She revealed that her emotional struggles stemmed from trauma caused by her father. When actor Jin Tae Hyun, playing the father’s role, offered comforting words, she broke into tears. The husband also revisited his childhood, saying, “My father cheated and left me alone in a one-room apartment for a month when I was just a baby.” His claim drew skepticism from others, as it’s nearly impossible to recall memories from infancy.

During the session, the wife appeared detached, unmoved by her husband’s tearful apology as he knelt before her, saying, “I’m sorry for lying. I caused this situation. I wanted to tell you earlier that I’ll never lie again and will try to build a happy family. I’m always on your side.”
But the wife responded coldly, “It doesn’t feel sincere. The kneeling, the crying — it’s all the same pattern. I feel nothing.” She explained that he had apologized the same way many times before, only to repeat his mistakes.
Despite multiple therapy attempts to reach her emotionally, the wife remained unresponsive, and the session ended without reconciliation. When the cameras followed her later, she expressed frustration over her husband’s disappearance, not realizing he was crying alone in a corner. “I promised not to lie, but I did again,” the husband murmured in despair.

The wife eventually called him several times with no response and grew increasingly angry. She stormed out, saying, “I don’t want to do this anymore. This is pointless. Ending it is the answer.” Tearfully, she added, “What’s the point if only I change? He’s avoiding conversations. I can’t do this.”
When her husband finally approached to apologize, saying, “I didn’t know what to do. I’m sorry,” she snapped and hit him in frustration, shouting, “What have you fixed? It’s only been a few hours and you’re already avoiding me again. I can’t do this anymore. He can’t change. I’m going home.”
In a final interview with the production team, she confessed, “It’s unbelievable how easily he lies. It makes me furious. I guess he really can’t change. I regret thinking there was hope for him.”
The heartbreaking scene left viewers divided — some sympathized with the wife’s exhaustion, while others expressed concern over her violent reaction. Divorce Camp continues to spark intense discussion about relationships, healing, and emotional accountability.
