Dispatch reveals the truth behind ‘staff throwing FIFTY FIFTY’s food’ incident with big twists, “Not food from parents”

Missing information about the staff throwing food incident reported by “Unanswered Questions” has been disclosed.

Earlier on August 19th, FIFTY FIFTY’s side said to “Unanswered Questions” that “The company did not provide proper meals but threw all the side dishes sent by the members’ parents on the floor in the living room. The staff also insulted the members by saying things like ‘Pick them up and quickly throw them away in the trash can’.”

However, the story covered by “Unanswered Questions” has been found to be partly different from the truth.

According to Dispatch’s report on the 23rd, the incident occurred on July 6th, 2021 at Attrakt’s Gangnam Training Center. A witness at the scene revealed the “thrown away” items were not side dishes sent by FIFTY FIFTY members’ parents, but rather snacks collected from a trainee’s locker and dorm. The witness also confirmed that the person who threw the snacks and insulted the members was Baek, a director of The Givers.

In fact, the incident happened because the trainees failed to follow the diet routine. The Givers CEO Ahn and director Baek proposed a “detox program” to Attrakt CEO Jeon. Attrakt’s trainee development team asked for opinions from 6 trainees, including FIFTY FIFTY members and other trainees. Except for Saena, the other five agreed to participate in the diet program.

However, the weights of the trainees remained the same, and some even gained weight. Noticing the unusual situation, Baek inspected the trainees’ dorm and collected some snacks, which were later thrown away.

In the locker of trainee B, Baek found various kinds of snacks, such as chocolate waffles, Apollo bars, protein cookies (mint choco), string cheese, vitamin bars, ABC chocolates, cube sweet potatoes, Crunky chocolates, etc. More snacks were found at B’s dorm, including tangerine chips, ice creams, sandwiches, pretzels, cream cheese rice cake, sweet red bean bread, Haribo jelly, sweet potatoes chips, Belgian waffles, cube sweet potato ice cream, nurungji, honey pancakes, strawberry chips, etc.

Director Baek then called the members to Attrakt’s Gangnam Training Center and threw the snacks he collected on the floor. There was a “seaweed snack” sent by FIFTY FIFTY’s parents among them.

Dispatch criticized “Unanswered Questions” for not properly revealing the identity of the person who threw the snacks and insulted the members as well as the fact that the diet program was conducted with the consent of the members. The media outlet pointed out, “The incident took place before the members signed their exclusive contracts. If they were traumatized by this incident, they shouldn’t have signed the contracts”.
