Did Goo Hara Leave a Will? Housekeeper’s Statement Raises Questions

The possibility has been raised that the late Goo Hara may have left a will

On the June 22nd episode of the SBS current affairs program ‘Unanswered Questions,’ episode 1403 delved into the mystery surrounding the theft of Goo Hara‘s safe.

On January 14, 2020, after Goo Hara’s death, a man broke into her residence in Cheongdam-dong while her family was away. The intruder scaled the wall, entered through the second-floor balcony, and stole a single safe from the dressing room, ignoring other valuable items.

Goo Hara’s older brother, Goo Ho-in, stated, “I had already removed important items from the safe. When the thief took the safe, it was almost empty.” He explained that he had opened the safe before the theft to look for Goo Hara’s will.

Goo Ho-in’s search for the will was prompted by a story told by the housekeeper who had taken care of Goo Hara for a long time. The housekeeper had mentioned that Goo Hara had once said she had written a will “just in case.” However, Goo Ho-in was unable to find any written will in the safe. The show speculated whether the thief might have been targeting something on her phone that contained her final wishes.

At the time of Goo Hara’s death, no will was found, except for a simple memo.
