Delta Air Lines responds to Hyeri’s revelation “The incident is being investigated”

As soon as Girl’s Day member-actress Hyeri (real name Lee Hyeri) exposed the seat-related tyranny of the American airline Delta Air Lines, Delta Air Lines announced their position that the incident is being investigated.

On August 31st, Hyeri exposed the airline’s tyranny through her Instagram story, “I made my reservation one and a half months ago and even selected a seat in advance, but they downgraded me to Economy Class, saying there were no First Class seats available.

She added, “The airline told me to take the next flight if I didn’t like the seat and did not even give me a refund. Haha. I booked two seats, how could both be downgraded? I wanted to say many things but couldn’t express them properly. At that moment, I thought I should have studied English harder. What an absurd experience. You should be careful, everyone.”

The plane ticket photo shared by Hyeri revealed that the foreign airline was Delta Air Lines.

In relation to this, Delta Air Lines told Maeil Business Newspaper Star Today on August 31st, “We have delivered the incident to the relevant department. They are investigating the incident.”

When asked by a reporter “Isn’t the incident that Hyeri suffered racial discrimination?“, Delta Air Lines avoided giving an immediate answer, saying, “There’s nothing we can answer at the moment.” They also remained silent on questions about compensation for damages.
