On October 15 (local time), Taiwanese outlet CTWANT reported that Dee Hsu’s second daughter, Lily, was seen at a movie theater with a young man who was speculated to be her boyfriend. Photos of the pair sparked dating rumors across Taiwanese media and social platforms.
However, Dee Hsu’s agency promptly refuted the claim, clarifying, “The man in the photos is Ming, a colleague from Dee Hsu’s company. His height looked exaggerated because he was wearing shoe lifts.” The quick response was seen as a reflection of Dee Hsu’s protective nature toward her daughter, as she has always been known for her close relationship with her children.
Dee Hsu is the mother of three daughters. Since her sister Barbie Hsu’s passing in February, she has expressed deep grief online, writing, “My sister was my biggest support. Whenever I faced something important in life, she was the first person I turned to.” Her heartfelt message moved many fans across Asia.
Barbie Hsu passed away in February while traveling in Japan, due to pneumonia complications from influenza. Her husband and Dee Hsu’s brother-in-law, DJ Koo (Koo Jun Yup), is reportedly still visiting her grave regularly eight months after her passing, a gesture that continues to touch fans’ hearts.
