Recently, famous Korean band DAY6 performed as a sub-headliner act at the 2024 Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival in Korea.

Despite the band achieving great fame in Korea with their songs seeing surges on Korean charts nowadays, DAY6’s festival set has been condemned with various negative feedbacks.

In particular, comments about instrumental mistakes, forgotten lyrics, as well as strained and off-pitch vocals, are appearing on all sorts of SNS platforms following the festival.

On the Korean forum ‘theqoo’, criticisms such as, “They need to work harder to improve”, “They did not do their best”, and “The festival-goers were not happy”, can be seen under related topics.

Meanwhile, on Reddit, some even claim that DAY6’s skills seem to be “regressing”, leaving comments such as, “Anyone who has been a DAY6 fan for a while can see their skills in live performances have regressed compared to pre-military” and “Right now all of the members sound shouty and strained”.

Additionally, scathing feedback can also be spotted under the YouTube video of DAY6’s performance at the festival, with some even calling their decision to attend the band’s performance to be “a waste of money”.

“There was no consideration for the fans. I was honestly more disappointed than I was excited”, a fan even said.
