On the October 28th broadcast of MBC’s entertainment show “Hangout with Yoo”, Yoo Jae-suk came forward to select the main vocalist for One Top.
Daesung asked whether the genre in which One Top will work in the future has been decided. In response to the answer “dance“, Daesung confidently stated, “Dance? That’s me.” He went on to say, “When it comes to dancing, it should have excitement, right? Rather than Taeyang’s cool dancing style, my style has more excitement.“
Daesung then compared Taeyang’s cool dance moves to his own cheerful dance on the spot, earning praise from Yoo Jae-suk, who said, “Perfect.”
Yoo Jae-suk asked, “You had experience with group activities, right? What is the most important thing (when doing group activities)?” Daesung replied, “Consideration and sacrifice. Diligence shows in one’s physique.” He also mentioned that he is taking Pilates, drum, vocal, English, Japanese and piano lessons.
Yoo Jae-suk then looked at Daesung’s resume and asked about the modifier “Japan’s sexy star”. Feeling embarrassed, Daesung explained, “It’s something Taeyang mentioned when he appeared on ‘Radio Star’.“
