On August 15, BIGBANG member Daesung explored the world of artificial intelligence in the latest episode of his YouTube channel Zip Daesung, titled “Zip Daesung Controlled by AI.”
When asked if he had used ChatGPT before, Daesung confirmed he had, explaining that he uses it for English practice by entering lesson prompts and repeating them. The crew was surprised he had the app installed, prompting Daesung to quip, “I live in Seoul.”
However, when it came to seeking personal advice from AI, Daesung wasn’t convinced. “Why would I do that? What would it know? All the answers are inside me. If you unplug the cord, it shuts down — what does it know?” he joked, earning laughter from the production team.

Daesung did, however, express concern about his channel’s declining view counts. AI’s response was brutally honest:
“Your content feels less authentic than before, it seems like you’re just trying to make quick money, or your charm points have faded.”
The blunt assessment left both Daesung and the staff momentarily stunned. AI then suggested potential fixes, such as solo skits, casual hangouts with friends, and café vlogs.

Daesung admitted that the only people he’s been in contact with lately are his bandmates, showing his phone and joking about possibly meeting “Goonbaeng.” Even BIGBANG’s “Eagle Five” group chat had been inactive, with his last message exchange over a month ago.
Following AI’s recommendation, Daesung tried filming a café vlog but set modest expectations, predicting, “This won’t go viral at all. Maybe 120,000 views?” The episode concluded with a surprise treat for fans: a short clip of Daesung, G-Dragon, and Taeyang celebrating BIGBANG’s 19th anniversary together. The trio sang, “Happy Birthday, beloved BIGBANG, happy 19th anniversary,” marking nearly two decades of their music legacy.
