Kim Tae-ri, who won the grand prize (Daesang) for acting in the SBS Drama Awards with “Revenant” last year, is having a comeback this year with part 2 of the movie “Alienoid.” In an interview with MHN Sports, Kim said. “I think acting is the spirit. There is no right answer, so actors should just do it shamelessly. I think it’s important to persuade people by making my own answer the right one.”
According to Kim, it turned out that her unique facial expression change performance in “Revenant” was influenced by “Alienoid.” The actress revealed, “I had a lot of thoughts about how much I should express at this point when filming ‘Alienoid’. Knowing the end of the story, I naturally end up playing myself mixed up with the latter parts. But (director Choi Dong-hoon) tried to exclude that. I have to follow the audience. Now that I think about it, I think I got a lot of help from ‘Alienoid’ during the filming of ‘Revenant’.”
