Actress-Sistar member Kim Da-som will visit the small screen through MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama “The Season of Kokdu”.
The agency Story J Company announced on Oct 12th, “Kim Da-som will greet you as Tae Jeong-won in MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama ‘The Season of Kokdu’. We ask for your interest and anticipation.”
“The Season of Kokdu” is a fantasy medical human drama in which Kokdu, a grim reaper who takes a break from his job in the underworld every 99 years, meets Han Gye-jeol, a female doctor who has a mysterious ability. In the drama, Tae Jeong-won (played by Kim Da-som) is a talented student who has never missed first place from entering Korea University of Medicine to graduating.
In addition, she is the object of envy to everyone as she is a perfect mother’s friend’s daughter who has everything from beauty to family. The chemistry between Jeong-won, Kokdu-Do Jin-woo (Kim Jung-hyun) and Han Gye-jeol (Im Soo-hyang) is expected to arouse viewers’ interest.
Kim Da-som, who debuted as a member of girl group Sistar in 2010, showed her versatility through various activities such as dramas, albums and entertainment shows. After the disbandment of the team in 2017, she turned into an actress and is working actively.
In addition to his bright and healthy appearance, she was praised for her stable acting skills from strong, cold-blooded villain to straight, brave, righteous characters through her works. Therefore, expectations are high on what Kim Da-som will look like in “The Season of Kokdu”.
