“Culinary Class Wars” Final Episode Approaches, Speculation About the Winner Surges

Netflix's original show "Culinary Class Wars" is nearing its final episode, and anticipation about the winner is growing

Culinary Class Wars” started with the question, “Who would win if a local restaurant owner and a Michelin-starred chef faced off in a culinary battle?” The show features 100 well-known and lesser-known chefs in intense competition. Since its premiere on September 17, “Culinary Class Wars” has topped Netflix’s global TOP 10 TV non-English category for two consecutive weeks. From September 23 to 29, it garnered 4.9 million views, ranking first in four regions: Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong.

In countries like Japan and Spain, fans are actively predicting who the winner will be. Netflix has provided dubbed versions in Japanese, Spanish and English. In survival shows, it’s common for famous voice actors to dub the winner, leading to predictions about the winner based on the recognition of the voice actors assigned to the contestants.

However, Netflix issued warnings that spoilers about the winner could detract from the content’s enjoyment. They cited an example from the past when the prize was withheld from a YouTuber who leaked spoilers for the survival variety show “The Influencer”, stressing their strict policy on confidentiality.

Netflix emphasized, “Maintaining secrecy about the winner before the final episode is a way to respect the efforts of everyone involved in the production.

As “Culinary Class Wars” gears up for its grand finale, excitement continues to build. During a press conference on October 7, Chef Choi Hyun Seok teased, “We have something surprising and fun in store for the final episode.” Auntie Omakase #1 added “You might experience the true taste of hell“, while Triple Star remarked, “The most enjoyable cooking moment for me will air tomorrow. Please look forward to it.”

The final two episodes of “Culinary Class Wars”, episodes 11 and 12, will be released on October 8 at 4 PM.
