CRAVITY member Seongmin will not participate in group activities for the time being
On October 11th, Starship Entertainment released a notice on the official account of CRAVITY, announcing that Seongmin would temporarily suspend his activities.
The agency said, “Seongmin’s mother is about to undergo a major surgery due to her disease. After discussing with CRAVITY members and Seongmin, we believe that this is the best decision for Seongmin and Seongmin’s mother so that Seongmin will be with his mother for the time being”.
They continued, “The group will continue activities with 8 members except for Seongmin”, adding, “We ask for your support, encouragement, and understanding for the recovery of Seongmin’s mother.”
Meanwhile, Seongmin debuted with CRAVITY in 2020. The group released their 6th mini album “SUN SEEKER” on September 11th and is carrying out various promotional activities.
With this album, CRAVITY surpassed their own first-week sales record. The album sold more than 300,000 copies and topped the Album Chart in the 37th week of Circle Chart. The title song “Ready or Not” also ranked No.1 on US Billboard ‘Hot Trending Songs’.
