In recent days, Kpop fans have passed on news of two male idols dating many years ago that was published by Woman Sense newspaper. Many specific details reported by the newspaper makes netizens guess wildly about the suspected couples. Among those, there is a very surprising couple: Park Hyungsik and Im Siwan (ZE:A). Compared to the details revealed, this couple has quite a lot in common.

Park Hyungsik and Im Siwan are the two hottest members of the ZE:A group, which coincides with the detail that the company kept their relationship secret instead of kicking them out of the group because they didn’t want to lose fans. ZE:A is also a 2nd Gen group that debuted in 2010, which is quite coincident with the time reported.
In the group, Park Hyungsik and Im Siwan are two members with close feelings. Although they have both been successful with their acting careers and become A-listers, the two often take care of one another by sending food trucks or mentioning each other in interviews. When Park Hyungsik enlisted in the army, he also shared that he received a phone call from Im Siwan every day.

Looking back to the time when the two were still active with the group, fans could see countless moments of them showing affection for one another, which also coincided with the character’s personality in the story that Woman Sense newspaper shared.
“Why are you doing this to me?” – A.
– “I told you not to let other people see that image during the broadcast” – B.
– “Can’t we just do it because we like each other?” – A.
B lost his temper and got out of the room.

ZE:A is a 9-member boy group that debuted on January 7, 2010, under Star Empire Entertainment. Despite being active for quite some time, the group did not achieve major success in music. In 2017, they announced the end of their contracts with the agency and officially disbanded.
However, ZE:A was fortunate to have several members who found success individually, particularly in acting and variety shows. Among ZE:A’s former members, Im Siwan and Park Hyung Sik have particularly stood out in the acting world, successfully transitioning from idols to respected actors.

Im Siwan gained critical acclaim for his role in the award-winning drama Misaeng: Incomplete Life (2014), where he portrayed a struggling office worker in a competitive corporate world. His nuanced performance earned him praise for his emotional depth and realism. Since then, he has starred in notable films and dramas such as The Merciless (2017), Strangers from Hell (2019), and Run On (2020). Siwan is known for his ability to take on complex and diverse characters, solidifying his reputation as one of K-drama’s most versatile actors.

Park Hyung Sik, meanwhile, rose to fame with his role in the hit drama Strong Woman Do Bong Soon (2017), where his charming and comedic performance won over both domestic and international fans. He further impressed viewers in Suits (2018), a Korean adaptation of the American series, and later showcased his dramatic acting skills in Happiness (2021) and the period drama Our Blooming Youth (2023). Hyung Sik has continued to expand his range, taking on both romantic and action roles with ease.
