On July 28th, a video titled “Umaizing Date EP.03 with Chungha | Sis, back then to me…” was uploaded to the YouTube channel “Umaizing Uhm Jung-hwa TV”. Chungha appeared as a guest in this episode.
Chungha sparked curiosity by saying, “There was a specific moment that I completely fell in love with you as a fan.” She continued, “It happened a long time before I debuted. You were in the movie ‘Dancing Queen’ (2012), right? You did a lot of promotional events for the movie. You did a performance during one of the preview events. I was one of the dancers at that performance. You were next to me and you looked at me! I looked at you while we were dancing, and you smiled so brightly at me!“
Chungha shared, “At the time, I was worried about my future. I didn’t know whether I should give up my dream of becoming a singer. But when I saw your bright smile, I decided to do everything I could to become a singer so I could thank you directly after my dream came true.”
She added, “I learned that someone’s smile could become a huge motivation for another person.” Uhm Jung-hwa responded warmly, “You all reminded me of myself when I was younger. You really liked dancing, and you were dreaming of becoming a singer. I looked at you all and thought, ‘What do they want to be in the future?’“
