Singer Chungha has parted ways with MNH Entertainment, the agency she has been with since her debut.
On March 29th, MNH Entertainment announced in an official statement, “We would like to inform you that Chungha’s exclusive contract, which started with us in 2016 and lasted for 7 years, will end on April 29, 2023.”
They continued, “In addition, we ask for your understanding that ‘Bare & Rare Pt.2’ will not be released by our company due to internal issues.” It is known that Chungha previously released the first part of “Bare & Rare” under MNH Entertainment.
Finally, the agency added, “We sincerely express our deepest gratitude to Chungha for being with us for a long time, and thank the Byulharangs who have been with her, as well. We will support the new beginning of Chungha, who will continue to be a great artist.”
Meanwhile, Chungha made her debut as a member of the project group I.O.I, after placing in the final Top 11 of the Mnet survival show “Produce 101”. After I.O.I’s disbandment, Chungha debuted as a solo artist and received a lot of love through songs such as “Why Don’t You Know”, “Roller Coaster”, “Gotta Go”, and “Snapping”. In October last year, Chungha released the non-album single “When I Get Old”.
