Choi Yena Impersonates G-Dragon, Jo Hyun-ah Comments “It Sounds Like Elementary School Student”

Singer Choi Yena showcased her fresh vocal mimicry talent

On Oct 9th, a video featuring Choi Yena was posted on the YouTube channel “Jo Hyun-ah’s Thursday Night”.

In the video, Jo Hyun-ah complimented Choi Yena’s voice, “I find your voice more surprising. Voice of an elementary school student!“

In response, Choi Yena confidently stated “I have a talent to show!” and added, “When G-Dragon was young, when he was a kid rapper.” Jo Hyun-ah showed great anticipation, saying, “I’ll close my eyes and listen.“

Choi Yena then mimicked G-Dragon‘s rap part in Big Bang’s “Lies”, but it was nothing like the original. Jo Hyun-ah remarked, “It really sounds like an elementary school student.”

When Choi Yena said “It doesn’t sound the same?“, Jo Hyun-ah caused laughter by offering comforting words, “No, I mean… I think I just don’t know it. The voice of GD… It’s my fault. I don’t think I know GD’s kid voice but I think it will sound the same!“
