Choi Woo Shik to start fresh with a new company after leaving Management SOOP 

According to iMBC entertainment news on April 28th, Choi Woo Shik‘s exclusive contract with his agency Management SOOP will expire on April 30th.

Choi Woo Shik reportedly plans to transfer to the entertainment company newly established by his long-time staff from Management SOOP.

Management SOOP has also expressed their support for Choi Woo Shik’s future activities, stating to iMBC entertainment news, “We support the activities of our long-time staff who are becoming independent. We ask for your continued interest.”

Choi Woo Shik made his debut in 2011 and drew attention in the industry by winning various rookie awards at film festivals. After that, he was recognized for his acting skills in movies such as “Train to Busan” (2016), “Okja” (2017), and “The Witch” (2018). He rose to prominence as one of the lead actors in the Oscars-winning film “Parasite,” directed by Bong Joon Ho. He also starred in SBS’s drama “Our Beloved Summer” last year and received much love. Currently, he is appearing in tvN’s reality show “Jinny’s Kitchen.”
