On March 22, a video titled “Asking Single’s Inferno Choi Mina Sue About ‘The King’s Warden‘ Spoilers” was uploaded to the YouTube channel Psick Univ. In the clip, Choi Mina Sue appeared as a guest and shared candid insights about her experience on Single’s Inferno.

Speaking about why she decided to join Single’s Inferno 5, Choi explained that she hadn’t initially been eager to apply. In fact, the production team had reached out to her about two years earlier, during the time of Single’s Inferno 2. “Back then, I felt a bit uncomfortable about showing my personal dating style,” she said, while expressing gratitude for the opportunity.

She added that many people tend to see her as intelligent and composed, but she wanted to showcase different sides of herself through the show. “I’m really satisfied—not just with showing my charm, but many other aspects of who I am,” she said with a smile.

Choi also revealed that preparing for the show involved more than just interviews and camera tests. Contestants were responsible for curating their own wardrobes, especially given the show’s glamorous concept. “For a show like Single’s Inferno, you have to prepare a lot of outfits to match the vibe,” she explained.

While she handled most of the styling herself, Choi admitted that her mother played a significant role. “My mom helped a lot, and so did her friends,” she shared. In particular, her mother assisted in tailoring outfits to better fit her body. “The yellow dress I wore when I first appeared was actually too big, but my mom altered it to highlight my silhouette,” she said.

Choi also mentioned that her mother works in the fashion industry, specializing in menswear such as suits an experience that clearly came in handy during the preparation process.

When it came to accessories, Choi revealed that not everything she wore belonged to her. “Some items are mine, but many are my mom’s or borrowed from her friends,” she said. She noted that while certain pieces like necklaces were personal gifts, much of her overall styling relied on borrowed luxury items.

“I actually borrow quite a lot from people I know,” she admitted, offering a refreshingly honest glimpse into the behind-the-scenes reality of reality TV fashion.
