Former Crayon Pop member ChoA shared joyful news with fans, announcing her pregnancy with identical twins after a long and difficult health battle.
On September 5, ChoA revealed through her SNS: “Finally, the precious life we have been desperately waiting for has come to us. As of today, I am 10 weeks and 2 days pregnant, carrying identical twins.”
Two years ago, ChoA was diagnosed with uterine cancer. At the time, several university hospitals told her she would not be able to conceive. Despite the discouraging prognosis, she underwent successful surgery with the help of a dedicated professor who preserved her fertility.

ChoA shared that after multiple attempts at natural conception, she turned to IVF (in vitro fertilization). To her surprise, pregnancy occurred on the first try: “We only implanted one embryo, but by a 1% chance, it naturally split into identical twins.”
Currently experiencing severe morning sickness, she expressed her determination: “My goal now is to carry the babies healthily. We are expecting to meet them in March next year.”
ChoA also addressed viewers on her YouTube channel ChoA Life, where she has been documenting her fertility journey. She said she hopes her story will encourage others facing similar struggles: “I want to help people who have gone through infertility and IVF. To all couples trying—fighting!”
Debuting in 2012 with Crayon Pop, ChoA gained immense popularity with the viral hit Bar Bar Bar. She married a businessman six years her senior in 2021 and revealed her uterine cancer diagnosis last year at age 33. Now, she is celebrating what she calls a “1% miracle” as she prepares to embrace motherhood.
