Cai Xukun is already a familiar name to fans of Chinese showbiz. In the early days of his career, he participated in the Chinese audition program “Idol Producer” in 2018 and then successfully debuted in the group Nine Percent as a leader and center member.

Later in July, Cai Xukun posted his official position on Weibo, emphasizing that their one-night stand was “consensual” and that both of them agreed with the abortion. He strongly denied the forced abortion allegations and rumors that the woman was underage. In addition, Cai Xukun also apologized to fans and reflected on his wrongdoing.
Although the woman later confirmed that paparazzi deceived the public by faking information and using her photos, Cai Xukun still had to stop activities after the promotion in early 2023 and go on hiatus to avoid controversies.
After staying away from the media for more than a year, Cai Xukun began to carry out entertainment activities again in 2024. He released new music and is also modeling for the luxury brand Versace as their ambassador.
