“Cheating is OK as long as there is a reason”, Revealed Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany

Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany recently revealed various thoughts about her acting career and self-development.

Tiffany Young, a member of the group Girls’ Generation and an actress, met with media site TenAsia on June 26 to discuss her overall activities in the entertainment industry, including her role in Disney+’s “Uncle Samsik”.

Talking about her happiness in participating in “Uncle Samsik”, Tiffany said, “I didn’t just analyze my character alone. I studied all the characters diligently and analyzed their relationships extensively. The director praised my unique approach, saying it felt more three-dimensional.”

The idol-actress then mentioned her career ambitions, saying, “After Girls’ Generation’s 10th anniversary, I went to the U.S. to study. I wanted to live as a proactive artist, not just doing what was asked of me. I wanted to pour my passion into the stories I chose.”

Tiffany Young also received much support from Girls’ Generation members, revealing that the members often complimented her and telling her that she has shown completely different vibes in “Reborn Rich” and “Uncle Samsik”.

Regarding her preferences while acting, Tiffany Young expressed her willingness to play any character, even villains or adulteresses, as long as there’s justification for the role.

“Cheating is OK, but the character must have a reason that makes me root for them,” she emphasized.

Finally, Tiffany mentioned how she has changed as an artist, saying, “In my 20s, I used to spend about 20 hours a week with negative thoughts. Now in my 30s, it’s down to about 2 hours (laughs). I try not to think negatively. I gain energy by moving instead of worrying. I consider action as love. To love acting means moving my body to move the viewers’ hearts.”

“Living with a national representative mindset while being in Girls’ Generation, I always gave my best. I put in 1000% effort. Now I’m ready to give 2000% effort. I feel that my healthy attitude and mindset from being in Girls’ Generation help me on set as an actress”, the idol-actress concluded.
