In episodes 5 and 6 of MBC’s Wednesday drama “A Good Day to Be a Dog” (directed by Kim Dae-woong, written by Baek In-ah), which aired on Nov 15th, the narrative of Jin Seo-won (played by Cha Eun-woo) and Han Hae-na (played by Park Gyu-young) deepened unexpectedly as they healed each other’s wounds.
Towards the end of the broadcast, the long eye contact between Seo-won and Hae-na during the school trip reached the highest level of sweetness. The perfect episode 6 date ending led to an explosive response, inviting viewers to the “A Good Day to Be a Dog” craze.
In the making videos released immediately after the broadcast of episodes 5 and 6, the delightful atmosphere and fantastic chemistry of actors such as Cha Eun-woo (as Jin Seo-won), Park Gyu-young (as Han Hae-na) and Lee Hyun-woo (as Lee Bo-gyeom) were captured.
Firstly, Cha Eun-woo demonstrated his dedication by not holding back during the past scene where Seo-won’s childhood trauma is revealed. He took on intense scenes, even directly handling a tension-filled scene where he is hit by Kim Min-seok (as Kang Eun-hwan), showcasing a passionate performance that touched the hearts of viewers.
The behind-the-scenes footage of the ending of episode 5, which captivated everyone, was also revealed. During a break, Cha Eun-woo started teasing Park Gyu-young with a mischievous appearance. Park Gyu-young responded to his playful antics, displaying lovely chemistry.
Especially when Park Gyu-young, who finished filming first, excitedly mentioned going home, Cha Eun-woo told her, “You’ll stay until the end, right?” Park Gyu-young replied “I’ll stay with you in spirit“, causing laughter. Cha Eun-woo further added humor by saying, “Please give me the car key.”

Yoon Hyun-soo (as Choi Yul), who is the only one at school aware of Hae-na’s special curse, expressed his extraordinary affection towards Hae-na by wearing a T-shirt with a dog printed on it. He then spoke to the T-shirt as a sudden skit, “Can you hear me, Teacher?” Park Gyu-young, standing next to him, responded wittily, warming the atmosphere on set.
