Today (April 19th) marks one year since the sudden passing of Moonbin. The late male idol was found dead at his residence in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on April 19th last year.

This sad news shocked the whole entertainment industry. Moonbin’s younger sister Moon Sua, who is a member of the girl group Billlie, canceled all her schedules to arrange the funeral for her brother. She recently resumed activities after a long hiatus.

Moonbin’s best friends, including ASTRO members, SEVENTEEN’s Boo Seung-kwan & Woozi, VIVIZ’s SinB & Umji, etc., continued to mourn. In particular, Woozi released a song titled “What kind of future” on January 26th to keep his promise to Moonbin.

Meanwhile, Moonbin acted in the music video for TVXQ’s “Balloon” in 2006 when he was young and gained the nickname “Little TVXQ”. He officially debuted as a child actor in 2009 in KBS2’s drama “Boys Over Flowers”. Later, he made his idol debut with the boy group ASTRO in 2016 and received huge love from fans around the world.
