Cha Eun Woo Drops Out of Upcoming Crime Drama “Bulk”

Actor and ASTRO member Cha Eun Woo has recently announced that he will not be appearing in the upcoming OTT series “Bulk”. 

The news was reported by the Korean news outlet, EDaily, on March 28th. Accordingly, Cha Eun Woo was slated to appear in the crime movie ‘Bulk’ but has decided to drop out of the project during the consideration stage.

The production company of “Bulk”, Son & Park Pictures, confirmed the news and stated that Cha Eun Woo had indeed decided to withdraw from the project. 

“Bulk” follows the story of a detective and a prosecutor who team up to uncover a black connection in the world of the police and the liquor industry. The drama is highly anticipated. Ha Yoon Kyung and Jo Woo Jin are set to appear in it.

Despite Cha Eun Woo’s withdrawal from the cast of “Bulk”, fans are still excited for the upcoming drama. However, many have expressed their disappointment in online communities such as theqoo, where netizens left comments, “It’s such a shame,” “I was looking forward to seeing him in this,” and “Why did he decide to drop out?”

Cha Eun Woo’s fans have come to know and love him for his dual talents as an actor and a member of the K-pop boy group, ASTRO. He has been able to balance both activities well and has gained immense popularity through various hit dramas such as “My ID is Gangnam Beauty,” “True Beauty,” and “Island”.

Cha Eun Woo has also secured his next small-screen project. He will be starring in the new drama “A Good Day to Be a Dog” which is based on a popular webtoon.
