Dramatic Trailer Ep.1 of the 4th work “The Villainess Is A Marionette” selected in Kakao Entertainment’s “2022 Super Webtoon Project” was released on October 7th.
Kakao Entertainment has launched “2022 Super Webtoon Project” aimed at the global market since the beginning of this year and carried out big campaigns, such as “The Siren”, “What it means to be you”, and “Tomb Raider King”. IU and Lee Joon-ho were selected as personas of each work and gained enthusiastic responses from fans in Korea and overseas.
This time, “The Villainess Is A Marionette” campaign also succeeded in attracting attention by producing and introducing the first Webtoon Dramatic Trailer in the webtoon industry, which shows its splendid casting lineup and webtoon with the quality of a drama. Cha Eun-woo was chosen as the persona for the role of Duke Kidrey, who has a fatal and cold appearance. Meanwhile, Han So-hee appears as the unique girl crush character princess Kayena and Lee Soo-hyuk transforms into prince Regef.
The released first trailer with the title “I Will Be Your Person” shows Duke Kidrey (Cha Eun-woo) and princess Kayena (Han So-hee) being reborn as political partners before the fateful narrative of Kayena takes place in earnest. Above all, the scene announcing the prelude to a breathtaking romance between the two also raises the viewers’ excitement.
Against the backdrop of a dazzlingly beautiful royal garden, the unknown tension during the tea time of princess Kayena and Duke Kidrey catches the eyes of fans from the start.
