CEO of FIFTY FIFTY’s agency saved by Samsung? Meaning of his latest move

Various speculations arise after Jeon Hong Jun, the CEO of FIFTY FIFTY’s agency ATTRAKT, changed his SNS ID.

On July 10th, various netizens noticed that the Instagram ID of ATTRAKT’s CEO Jeon Hong Jun, who is in conflict with girl group FIFTY FIFTY has changed, drawing attention.

In particular, Jeon Hong Jun previously used an Instagram account with the ID “oscarentceo”, which implies Oscar Ent. His profile picture was the image of FIFTY FIFTY’s first single album, and related posts were also uploaded to his feed.

However, the CEO’s profile picture has recently been changed to the flag of South Korea, and the ID has been modified into “galaxy_s23”, a Samsung phone model. All traces of FIFTY FIFTY have also been erased from his social media accounts.

The CEO’s move has caused various speculations to emerge online. Some netizens believe CEO Jeon Hong Joon changed his ID because he was “saved” thanks to the Galaxy’s “automatic call recording function” during his copyright dispute with FIFTY FIFTY.

Earlier, CEO Jeon released a phone recording with an official of Warner Music Korea regarding the copyright issue of “Cupid”; at the time, the CEO admitted that the recording “saved” him.

Netizens who saw this left comments such as, “This is basically unpaid advertisement”, “This makes me want to buy a Galaxy”, and “I hope CEO Jeon Hong Jun gets everything back”.
