CEO Min Hee Jin expressed her affection for NewJeans on “You Quiz on the Block”.
On tvN’s entertainment program “You Quiz on the Block” (hereinafter referred to as “You Quiz”), which aired on Dec 14th, girl group NewJeans (Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, Hyein) and CEO Min Hee Jin appeared as guests.
NewJeans gained huge popularity as soon as they debuted with “Attention”, “Hype Boy” and “Cookie”.
On this day, Yoo Jae Suk asked about NewJeans, “It’s not easy to be loved like this after 2 months of debut. Did CEO Min Hee Jin expect it?“
Min Hee Jin replied, “Actually, I expected it. I felt oppressed. The members had a dream, so they did this job. I always had the thought of taking responsibility.“
She confessed, “I also talk a lot with the members’ parents. I think I can live without problems only when the members’ parents understand. In particular, Hanni’s parents are in Australia, and they visited Korea this time. They gave me pajamas as a gift. I told them that I’m (their child’s) Korean mom.“
Hearing this, Yoo Jae Suk said, “I saw your face while NewJeans was on stage. I felt that you wanted them to do well and you were proud of them.“
Min Hee Jin caused laughter by saying, “I feel like I gave birth. I feel like crying.“
