Netizens select this celebrity to be the star that seems most convincing as a cult leader, more so than Yoo Jae Suk and Yoo Ah In?
In a poll on the online community DC Inside, Lee Seung Gi ranked first as a star who would be convincing as a cult leader. The poll was conducted for a total of seven days, from the 20th to the 26th.
Out of a total of 25,866 votes, Lee Seung Gi ranked first with 5,009 (19%) votes. He was recognized for his handsome appearance, logical and witty speech. Lee Seung Gi, who is known for his continuous charitable donations and positive influence, recently made headlines by announcing his marriage to his girlfriend Lee Da In.
In 2nd place was Yoo Jae Suk with 3,899 (15%) votes. Known for his thorough self-management and excellent character, Yoo Jae Suk is a well-known celebrity for his ongoing donations and good deeds. Yoo Jae Suk, who ranks at the top of the monthly entertainer brand reputation, has become irreplaceable, and his exceptional empathic ability is believed to have attracted votes.
Actor Yoo Ah In came in 3rd place with 3,559 (14%) votes. He received critical acclaim for his performance as the cult leader of “New Truth Society” in the 2021 Netflix drama “Hellbound”. Yoo Ah In, who has revealed his convictions through various writings on social media and engaged in many arguments, recently faced controversy over allegations of drug use.
On March 27th, Yoo Ah In attended the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Narcotics Crime Investigation Division in Mapo-gu, Seoul, in relation to the allegations of drug use and was investigated for about 12 hours. When asked by reporters if he admitted to the allegations of drug use, he said that he told all the truth he could reveal during the investigation that his personal deviant behaviors “did not harm anyone”.
Afterwards, on March 28th, Yoo Ah In posted an apology on his Instagram, stating, “I will sincerely participate in any further investigations and accept all your criticism and the judgment of the law.”
On the other hand, other celebrities included in the aforementioned poll are Noh Hong Chul, psychiatrist Oh Eun Young, and singer-actress IU.
