The cause of American actress-comedian Jacky Oh’s sudden death has been revealed
According to entertainment media outlet People on Oct 8th (local time), a representative from the Miami Police Department confirmed that the death of Jacky Oh, who passed away at the age of 33, had been ruled “accidental due to complications from cosmetic surgery“.
Previously, it was reported that Jacky Oh underwent cosmetic surgery at a hospital in Miami, and the headache that started after the surgery became increasingly severe.
Accordingly, the hospital prescribed the pain reliever Ibuprofen and Ondansetron, which is used to reduce vomiting. However, Jacky Oh was found unconscious in a hotel room on May 31st. According to the report, despite the efforts of the emergency medical team, Jacky Oh received a pronouncement of death.
At the time of her death, a BET Media Group spokesperson said in a statement, “We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jacklyn Smith, known to the world as Jacky Oh, a talented Wild ‘N Out family member whose impact will be forever treasured and missed.“
The spokesperson added, “Jacky Oh was a loving friend and beloved colleague of the Wild ‘N Out cast throughout five seasons. More importantly, she was a tremendous mother to three beautiful children.”
