Byun Woo-seok Mentions Real-life First Love and Grandmother on “You Quiz”
Actor Byun Woo-seok, who recently caused ‘Seon-jae Syndrome’, will make his appearance on “You Quiz on the Block”
At the end of episode 244 of tvN’s entertainment program “You Quiz on the Block” (“You Quiz”), which aired on May 15th, there was a teaser introducing Byun Woo-seok, who played the main character in the ongoing drama “Lovely Runner”, as the next guest.
In the teaser, Yoo Jae-suk exclaimed as soon as he saw Byun Woo-seok, “You look even cooler”. Startled when getting called “Seon-jae ah”, the name of his role in “Lovely Runner”, Byun Woo-seok responded, “You can call me Seon-jae”.
Regarding his popularity recently, Byun Woo-seok said, “I’m bewildered. My heart keeps pounding and I can’t even sleep well. I feel excited every day”.
Byun Woo-seok then mentioned his co-star Kim Hye-yoon, saying “She always took care of me by giving me snacks and jelly whenever my sugar level dropped”. Revealing that it ook three years to make the drama, the actor humbly shared, “I think other actors received the script before me. Thank you so much for sending me this script”.
In addition, Byun Woo-seok also talked about his first love in real life, arousing fans’ curiosity.
Confessing that his dream was to succeed and get a nice house, Byun Woo-seok said, “I remember living in a house with steep stairs and I found it uncomfortable to see my grandmother going up the stairs. I grew up with my grandmother and used the same room with her”. He added, “The most regrettable moment in my life is…”, and showed teary eyes, drawing attention for the story he will tell.
