On June 19th, the YouTube channel “Harper’s BAZAAR Korea” uploaded an interview video featuring the actor Byun Woo-seok.
In the video, Byun Woo-seok smiled shyly as soon as she saw the description, “Actor in his 8th year who stirred South Korea with the ‘Ryu Seon-jae Syndrome’ in the year of 2024”, and wondered, “Is this right? Thank you”.
Revealing that he received vocal training for about two months in order to play Eclipse’s Ryu Seon-jae in “Lovely Runner”, Byun Woo-seok added, “Actually, the ‘Sudden Shower’ was created thanks to the music director. When recording it, the director gave such detailed comments, which led to the creation of a good song.”
When asked, “Is there an embarrassing past you want to erase or a past you were surprised with?”, Byun Woo-seok said, “Actually, there is nothing I want to erase. There were some things that were embarrassing. I was slim when I was a model. I was really embarrassed to see the slim version of me. Back then, I was slim because I went to the Milan Fashion Week and went around for casting auditions for around 2 weeks. I wanted to participate in as many casting auditions as possible, so I didn’t have meals”.
He added, “Back then, I walked around a lot. I didn’t have much money. I think I walked around for around 8 hours.”
Regarding his bucket list, the actor shared, “I want to travel around the world and visit many countries.”
