“Business Proposal” Seol In Ah did this funny thing before filming her steamy kiss with Kim Min Gyu
Seol In Ah is just as adorable and bubbly as “Business Proposal” Jin Young Seo!
“Business Proposal” is one of the most buzzworthy K-dramas at the moment thanks to its fun plot and a perfect visual cast with top-tier chemistry. After only 3 weeks of broadcast, SBS’s rom-com drama has achieved double-digit ratings and topped Netflix rankings in different countries, proving its great popularity.
Among the many interesting and charming characters of “Business Proposal”, many viewers are in love with the second female lead, BFF of Shin Ha Ri (Kim Se Jeong) aka straightforward and chaotic chaebol daughter Jin Young Seo (Seol In Ah) and the second male lead, calm and handsome secretary Cha Sung Hoon (Kim Min Gyu) of CEO Kang Tae Moo (Ahn Hyo Seop).
In episode 6 of “Business Proposal”, Young Seo and Sung Hoon’s passionate first kiss is one of the biggest highlights. The kiss starts with drunk Young Seo giving Sung Hoon a peck on the lips, before their romantic tension and sizzling chemistry go off the charts as Sung Hoon pulls Young Seo in for a deep kiss that makes many viewers’ hearts flutter.
In a recent video on the official YouTube channel of Netflix Korea where the cast sat down and answered questions regarding their co-stars, Kim Min Gyu shared a funny story when they were filming this kiss scene.
When talking about his opposite first and current impression of Seol In Ah, Kim Min Gyu said he used to think she had a cold charm, but after spending time together on set, he realized Seol In Ah is someone who likes to joke around.
He went on to give an example of how playful Seol In Ah is in real life. Before filming their first kiss, Seol In Ah suddenly started to jump and dance in circles around Kim Min Gyu, while singing a weird children song. Filming a kiss scene, especially for the first time, could be awkward for actors. But in the case of Kim Min Gyu and Seol In Ah, thanks to how cute and bouncy Seol In Ah was on set, the atmosphere became much more comfortable and fun.
