BTS’s V Praised for LGBTQ+ Inclusion in “FRI(END)S” MV
The MV for BTS’s V’s latest single “FRI(END)S” is drawing high praise from netizens for its inclusive diversity.
On March 15, BTS’s V dropped the MV for his latest single “FRI(END)S”. In the MV, V is depicted as a lonely man stuck in a world full of couples.
Unlike most K-pop MVs which only include “conventional couples”, however, the “FRI(END)S” is gaining attention for its diversity, ranging from actors of different ethnicities and ages to LGBTQ+ inclusion.
As a result, fans couldn’t help but feel extremely appreciative, noting just how meaningful it is to see the diverse depictions of love in V’s MV, especially considering Korea’s rather harsh stance towards the LGBTQ+ community.
