BTS’s V In Military Uniform Suddenly Captured On Soccer Broadcast
The recent status of BTS member V (real name Kim Tae-hyung) while serving in the military has been revealed
At 2 p.m. on March 31st, a K-League 1 Split soccer match between Gangwon FC and FC Seoul was held at Songam Sports Town in Chuncheon.
The match was aired live on JTBC. In the middle of the fierce match, BTS’s V was suddenly spotted on the screen, drawing keen attention from fans and netizens. It was reported that V went to watch the match in a group with his fellow soldiers.
When V’s face was captured on the screen at the stadium, spectators at the stadium shouted loudly and V responded with a bright smile. Seeing V in a military uniform, fans exclaimed over his youthful visual and clear eyes.
V enlisted on December 11th last year. Currently, he’s diligently serving as a member of the Special Forces unit under the Army Corps Division 2 located in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province. The BTS member’s scheduled military discharge is on June 10th, 2025.
Even during his military hiatus, V still proved his huge popularity and influence by achieving impressive records on global music charts with his recently released digital single “FRI(END)S”, which was recorded before V enlisted.
According to the latest Billboard chart release on the 26th, V’s new song entered Billboard Main Single Chart ‘HOT 100’ at No.65. As a result, V has had a total of four songs entering the ‘HOT 100’ chart, such as “Our Beloved Summer” OST “Christmas Tree” at No.79, “Layover” at No.96, “Slow Dancing” at No.51 and “FRI(END)S”.
