At midnight on March 10th, Big Hit Music released the first teaser for V’s new digital single “FRI(END)S” on BTS’s official channel. The video showed a few scenes from the music video and unveiled a small part of “FRI(END)S”.
The video starts with the scene in which V sighs deeply while eating cup noodles alone. His lonely appearance gives off a dark and cold atmosphere. The place suddenly changes and V is now sitting on the sofa with a serious expression in the middle of a crowd full of couples showcasing love for each other.
In particular, the sweet melody in the second half of the video with V’s alluring falsetto leaves a lingering feeling. Watching the teaser, fans are raising expectations for the story V will tell through “FRI(END)S”.

Ahead of the release of “FRI(END)S” at 1 p.m. on March 15th, V has been stimulating fans’ excitement by dropping diverse content, such as short films and concept photos, one after another. On the 11th, the second concept photo and a highlight video comprehensively capturing the emotions in the song will be unveiled.
Meanwhile, all BTS members, including V, are currently fulfilling their military service. V is serving in the Military Police Corps’s Special Unit, which is under the direct command of the ROK II Corps in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do. His discharge date is scheduled for June 10th, 2025.
