BTS’s Upcoming Enlistments: V Applied For Special Task Force, Jimin & Jungkook Join Jin’s Boot Camp

BTS will be fulfilling military service as a whole group

BTS members RM, V, Jimin and Jungkook will all enlist in the military on December 11th and 12th.

First of all, V will head to the Nonsan Training Center on the 11th. He applied to the Capital Defense Command’s Special Task Force. RM will also go to Nonsan on the same day. They will begin receiving basic military training before getting assigned to a specific unit.

Jimin and Jungkook will enlist together on the 12th at the 5th Infantry Division Boot Camp where Jin is serving as a military assistant. As such, Jimin, Jungkook and Jin will reunite as trainees and assistant.

Jin, J-Hope and Suga are already fulfilling their military service. Jin enlisted in December last year. J-Hope joined the army in April this year and has been promoted as a military assistant at the Baekho Training Center. Suga completed his enlistment process in September and is currently serving as a social service worker.

Next year, Jin and J-Hope will be the first two members to be discharged from the military. BTS’s exact discharge schedules are still undecided but the members are expected to return as a whole group after June 2025.
