Suga was charged with violating the Road Traffic Act (Drunk Driving). He appeared at the police’s 17 days after the accident and will be investigated for the details of the case.
Standing on the photo line, Suga bowed his head 90 degrees and said, “I’m sorry,” expressing sincere remorse for the disappointment to many people and fans. “I will sincerely cooperate in the investigation,” he said, bending his head down once again.
Earlier, the police said regarding Suga’s photo line, “We could not create a photo line on purpose. We did it on the same basis as other suspects,” but since Yongsan Police Station does not have a separate underground parking lot or an internal driveway, Suga ended up stepping on the photo line.
Previously, Suga was found by police while riding an electric scooter near his home in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the night of the 6th.
Police patrolling the neighborhood at the time conducted a breath test and found that Sugar’s blood alcohol level was 0.227%, far above the license revocation standard (more than 0.08%).
